The Time Is Now

Make RadicalChristianityNormal Again

In a world where Christianity is deemed extreme and lukewarm Christianity seems like the norm, we're changing the status quo. We are on a mission to make radical Christianity normal.

The Mission

There's no such thing as a radical Christian.

There are only two kinds of Christians: those who are alive in Christ, and those who have grown lukewarm. There is no middle ground. To follow Jesus is to be all in. What the world calls “radical” is simply what Scripture calls normal Christianity.

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 28:19
By the Numbers

Look what God is doing.

Soul Winning

I've preached in 594 rooms, winning over 150 souls to Christ.

For most of my Christian life I was lukewarm, until The Time Is Now's first video woke something up in me. I found the courage to preach in front of my own class, then kept going, dorm to dorm, room to room. I've now preached in 594 rooms, winning over 150 souls to Christ.

On a Plane

There was a baby crying as we were landing. I asked God to make her stop crying so I could speak — while I spoke, she was quiet, and only cried again once I was done.

I preached on an Emirates flight from Dubai to Johannesburg, terrified the air hostesses would stop me. A baby had been crying as we landed — I asked God to quiet her so I could speak, and she went silent until I was done. No one was moving, so I had everyone's attention. Glory to God!

At the Mall

It was PACKED. When I walked in and saw how packed it was, I knew there was no turning back.

I kept dreaming of preaching in a mall, so with only a few days left in the Open Air Storm challenge, I picked a time it should have been empty. It was PACKED. Walking in, I knew there was no turning back — and that single act of obedience changed my walk with God.

Conversation Starters

5 ways to start a conversation about Christ

01

“How do you usually cope with the ups and downs of life?”

Connect this to Jesus being the constant you can lean on in life.

02

“Have you tried praying about it?”

Use this when others are talking about bad things happening in their lives. You can use this to know if they believe in God/their religious background. You can then segue into your own personal testimony of answered prayers or tell them what the Bible says about it.

03

“...that's why I believe in Jesus, because He helped me with...”

Use this as a response to a challenge someone else is talking about.

04

“That reminds me of something I heard in Church/read in the Bible.”

Segue into a question on if they've been to Church before and talk about their own beliefs.

05

“What are your aspirations in life?”

Connect this to the futility of earthly ambitions and how even those who have achieved those ambitions are still searching.
